My Athletic Experience and Future Plans Essay My name is Nurul Fa’eqa Bt Razak. I was born on the 9th of October in 1992, which means I am 23 years old now. I got 4 siblings, an elder sister, an elder brother and a younger brother. Then I have got my mom and dad too. I finished off my high school and took about five and half years in Universiti Teknologi Mara, Perlis to gets qualification in Diploma of Sport Studies and Degree in Sport Science with thinking of getting some good grades with the opportunities that UiTM giving me. The field I am thinking since my high school to study in is sport as I involve in sports such netball, track and field, handball and others. So, that is my goal and I always try to aim to do my best in everything that I involved. The fact is, sports become my major as most satisfaction come by playing games, involved in competition and winning become second enjoyment as thumb up in my level of performance. My interest in teaching began when I was inspire by my lecturer which is Madam Azzura Bt Kamarudin which one of my former lecturer in Universiti Teknologi Mara, Perlis. She told me that sport is wide major to be explored. It is not just playing game in getting popularity. With experience, keep on learning, getting knowledge and challenging our abilities will bring someone with nothing into something. After assessing my passions and my abilities, I decided to explore on becoming a trainers in educate and guide next generation to grow intellectually and pursue what they desire to. In 3 years I would like to be part of community in education and represent of sport science trainers in educate students to be more versatile. An athlete actually needs to understand himself/herself first before others. For example, in competition, there are limit for athlete to strive his/her performance into their best one. It involve of context in psychology, biomechanics in performance execution, nutrition and it becomes a trainers responsibilities to educate them well especially for high school student where they were not exposed on the right way in dealing with problem for example, injury and the most important is state of physiological and psychology which affect an athlete condition most. So, with the knowledge I had been learn since my diploma and during my degree level, I hope that I can deliver the knowledge and contribute toward sport community in produce an intellect athlete with a good grades and good knowledge in sport. I would like to take a step further to become a good educator for the lifelong learning journey of the new generation. As health and fitness become the one of most important things now days with our Datuk Khairy bin Jamaluddin who was our sport minister had expand our view in become healthy in a new ways. So, I want to take that opportunity to share and continue our sport minister legacy to bring sport and fitness as one area which can contribute on bring our nation as far as good in sport like China, United State and others. By then, I will develop students to be more enthusiastic, more practically and dedicated individual to ensure that they can have the opportunity to achieve their potential by understanding the underpinning of learning competencies of sport with contemporary science. On top of that, I want to become as their career inspiring and will give them breadth of experience, knowledge and skills for a rewarding in sports science or others. Since sport science become as my major which I put my passions into one well rounded course. I also want to put a vast variety of units which will allow them to get an insight into all aspects in sport science such as in psychological aspects, rehabilitation, biomechanical and physiological for example and I want to enable them to choose path that they are most passionate about. For me it is a wonderful to be part of such exciting field to study. Lastly, I hope that I will get the opportunity to become as a trainer in educate and guide new generation to further their studies and expand their abilities with knowledge that I had been learn since my diploma and degree level. The most important thing to me is to produce an intellectual athlete with a good grade and excellent in sport. Besides that, I also want to ensure that they be able to choose the right pathway to further their career and bring our sport area into new era of legacy.
